Leaving Sapporo

Well, we have survived our stay in Sapporo and are finally going to set out and actually use these bicycles we went to so much trouble to lug here.
Some highlights:

Realizing a lifelong dream of karaoke-ing Endless Rain with an actual Japanese person!

and finally, thanks to the rest of our Karaoke Crew - Trina and Kento - for preventing us from leaving the hostel before 11am!

It has been a fun couple of days, but we are both excited to do some actual bike riding. As I would say in my horrible broken Japanese, IKIMASHOU!
And one final victory, I've managed to find the apostrophe key! Shift-7 should anyone ever find themselves in such an un-enviable bind.
